You cannot tell a child: actually, I have enough money to sustain you all through your life, but I still want you to be "independent". Not really independent, just so that you could theoretically sustain yourself if need should arise. You cannot THEORETICALLY sustain yourself. Either you do it, or you don't. If Moshe keeps shoving money in his son's ass, why should he work? Reminds me of Donald Duck: he cannot be successful at work, because his uncle scrooge WANTS him to be dependent.
